Our Organisation Objectives
The relief of need by the promotion of the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual well-being, support and safety of victims and survivors of domestic abuse, gender based violence, intimate partner violence, sexual and all associated abuse in particular for women, young people and children.
To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing victims and survivors of domestic abuse and gender based violence from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of women going through domestic abuse who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society. For the purpose of this clause ‘socially excluded’ means being excluded from society, or part of society, as a result of being a member of a socially and economically deprived community
For the benefit of the public to develop capacity and skills of victims and survivors of domestic abuse and gender based violence in socially and economically disadvantaged communities using a strength based approach in such a way that they are better able to identify their inner strength and help meet their own needs and to participate more fully in society. For the purpose of this clause ‘strength based approach’ means focusing on individual and personal strengths, as well as identifying social and community networks to promote wellbeing.
For the benefit of the public for the relief of financial hardship, homelessness, sickness and poor health either generally or individually for victims and survivors of domestic abuse, particularly women, young people and children by providing a place of refuge and escape from abuse, provide housing, food and making grants of money for providing or paying for items, wellbeing services or facilities.
To advance Christianity for the benefit of the public to enlighten and share the good news of the love of Jesus Christ that comes freely without abuse through the holding of Christian prayer meetings, lectures, couples retreats, family and children retreats and producing and/or distributing literature on Christianity.
